      So, I'm excited. My first book is finally coming out! Do you know what it's like to nag an author until she finally decides to listen and tell your story? And then you have to wait until a publisher wants to buy the book. And the whole production thing takes forever.
      But it's done at last.
     The Ghost on the Stairs tells how my sister and I started traveling with Haunted, a TV show that researches ghosts. You get to meet my mother and stepfather, who run the show. And Maggie -- I can't even describe her, so you'll just have to read the book. And some other weird characters, like this annoying psychic, Madame Natasha.
      Most of all, you get to meet me and my sister. Tania is the one who sees ghosts. I didn't believe her at first. She said there was a ghost, and I looked and saw -- nothing. It's so totally not fair! Why can't I see them too?
      Oh well. At least I get to share in the secret. Because it's a big secret. You might think Tania would want to show off her gift, but trust me, she has good reasons for keeping it quiet. But that's not easy. Especially when everyone around you is looking for the ghost. Especially when you get carried away talking to the ghost, and trying to help it, like Tania does. I always have to get her out of trouble. That usually gets me into trouble.
      But at least life is interesting. Read the book -- you'll see what I mean.
